Sellers underprice what they have
Data assets are rarely modelled as a revenue line. Without a clear view of how they can be collected, enriched, applied and monetised, vendors leave value on the table.
M&A Advisory
Most M&A advice treats data as a diligence checkbox. We treat it as the asset class. We help sellers prepare, buyers evaluate and partners scale inside a shared data ecosystem.
The data M&A gap
We see the same pattern in every conversation: the data is valuable, but it has not been packaged, valued or integrated as an asset. That gap is where we work.
Data assets are rarely modelled as a revenue line. Without a clear view of how they can be collected, enriched, applied and monetised, vendors leave value on the table.
A target's data can look impressive and still be unusable. We evaluate the underlying architecture, rights, quality and repeatability before a number is agreed.
The best deals fail when data, reporting and governance are afterthoughts. We design the integration path so the combined asset is worth more than the parts.
What we do
We work with a number of partner companies, helping them build and scale inside our own data ecosystem. The platform, methodology and commercial network come with the relationship, not just capital or advice.
Given our deep technology background and networks, we are frequently asked to participate in M&A opportunities and transactions. We advise on both sides: preparing a business to transact, and helping buyers evaluate what a data asset is actually worth.
We consider ourselves a boutique advisory firm and a genuine growth partner. For a business looking to get to the next level, we bring operating experience from companies we have built, scaled and exited ourselves.
How we work
Each phase produces something you can use, even if the transaction does not proceed. We do not sell decks. We build assets.
2 to 4 weeks
We map the data estate, rights, quality and commercial potential. The output is an honest view of what is real, what is risky, and what a buyer or partner would actually pay for.
1 to 3 weeks
We turn technical detail into a commercial narrative: how the data is collected, why it is defensible, and how it compounds over time. This is the difference between a feature and an asset.
Deal timeline
We support negotiations, diligence and structuring from an operator's seat. Our focus is on what the data will produce, not just what it contains today.
Ongoing
After the transaction, we help the combined business integrate its data layer, launch new revenue lines and feed the flywheel. The asset should be worth more a year after close than it was on day one.
Why us
Two technology executives with decades spent building and exiting data businesses: Striven's acquisition by Deloitte Canada, Operto, Apple and Kantar.
Partner companies gain access to the Attesia platform and the group's federated data network, not just an advisor on retainer.
We understand what data is worth when compliance is the driver, because we build the infrastructure that discharges the obligation.
We think of ourselves as the perfect growth partner for a business that wants to take things to the next level, whether that means scaling inside our ecosystem, preparing for a transaction, or finding the right deal to begin with. The conversation is always open.
Where we focus
01
iGaming, healthcare, finance and other sectors where data is both an obligation and a strategic asset. We know how to build for compliance without losing commercial momentum.
02
Companies sitting on transaction, usage and behavioural data that could become a second revenue line. We help turn reporting into products.
03
Industries where the same dataset has value to multiple parties: operators, regulators, researchers and buyers. The cooperative model starts here.
Start the conversation
We will give you an honest view of what your data is worth, what a buyer would see, and whether now is the right time to move.
